Retrospect Backup in 60 Seconds: Zero Knowledge Security for Cloud Backups - Windows

01:01
Retrospect Backup supports zero knowledge security using AES-256 encryption. That means even though your data is stored in the cloud, only you can decrypt it, because only you have the decryption key. Creating a cloud destination with AES-256 encryption is easy. When you create the backup set, choose AES-256 encryption as the security setting. Type in a passphrase, and be sure to write it down. If you lose it, your encrypted data is lost too. Now you can use encryption for any backup set. In this case, we're creating a cloud set, so we'll type in an Amazon S3 account.
