2 clips showing the huge number of seabirds following a trawler we found, and a large number of Cape Petrels swirling behind another trawler over the open ocean. On this trip we saw 8 species/subspecies of Albatross, and pretty much every expected seabird species possible in early September. Well done Cape Town Pelagics. This Partially leucistic American Avocet lacks most of the pigment in its head and neck, and some in its back. Normally this specie would have an orange colored head and neck. Filmed in Salt Lake County, Utah, along the south shore of the Great Salt Lake, on April 24, 2008
