I am going to New York in the summer and really want to feel comfortable in my summer clothes. I think beach clothes and being half naked is much more comfortable than wearing denim shorts! I am working to eat 1800 calories a day and to workout or at least do something active every day! I have been bulking my meals with vegetables, mainly spinach, this is helping me have big meals that are very nutrient dense but have low calorie density. Today I hit 1753 calories and that included: 50g oats 100g pasta, 50g chicken, 1 sausage, 100g broccoli 2 poached eggs (with sweetcorn and spinach that I didn’t track) 1 sweet potato, 2 sausages, sweetcorn and broccoli 2 packs of hula hoops! 1 chocolate muffin 1 protein smoothie I feel like I nailed my nutrition today, first time in a while! wooooo!! Workout breakdown: Warm up: Roll calves and shins (wherever is tightest for you!) 15 leg swings each leg 1k run 3 sets of pull up hold (I can do 6 deep breaths now yay!) Superset with A. 20 Clamshells (side lying) B. 20 Straight Leg Raises (side lying) C. 10 each leg, 10 together leg raises (prone) Front squats 10 reps to warm up 3 sets of 5 superset 3x front foot elevated lunge on smith machine 6 pulses + 6 full (all your weight in your front heel) single leg bridge 8 superset 3x 8-10 KB sumo deadlift 15 cable abductions (try it lying down, it was awesome!) Hello! Today’s video is the 4th in my gymshark 66 challenge! I am super proud of myself that I took workout kit with me when meeting my friend and i made sure i left by 5 to ensure that I got to the gym before it closed! I ate a bagel and a boiled egg and then had chicken and prawn maki soba and green tea from Wagamamas whilst out! Oh and a mocha from starbucks!! My evening meal was a big bulky salad so I’m happy with my eating for the day! The workout is from Robin Gallant’s 4 week Glute Hypertrophy programme and this is the second of three lower body sessions of the week! Prehabilitation 5 minute bike 15 leg swings each leg and in each direction 10 plank step throughs (long lunge) 30 seconds squat and reach 10 seconds pigeon pose (twice each side) 2 sets of 15 glute kick backs 15 fire hydrants 4 sets 10-12 high and wide leg press (or squat press) 2 warm up sets 10-12 cable glute pull through 3 working sets 12-15 cable glute pull through with a hold at the top (I accidentally did an extra set…) 4 sets of 18-20 cable glute kick back 30 hip abduction machine 3 sets 15 calf raises (I did 2 sets bodyweight) 2 sets of 15 single leg glute bridges The glute burnout on the programme needs a midi band which I didn’t have with me at the time! Gymshark 66 Food and Exercise diary 4 and tips for new PTs

Hello and welcome back to my channel and a food and exercise diary! This is my Monday to Thursday days 21-24 of the gymshark 66 transform your life challenge! Monday was a crazy day as I had to go home to deal with a plumber and flooding in the flat! But otherwise it was a good food day! I ate mainly chicken, potato and broccoli and finished with eggs in the evening. Tuesday we had a huge lunch which was amazing! I have been massively craving salty food this week and have fit it in to my calorie allowance, but I have also eaten a piece or two of mint chocolate every night! I do not normally crave chocolate but this week I have wanted it a lot! Wednesday was such a good training day! But I did not have food with me so had a bagel for breakfast and only carrot sticks for lunch!! I had a huge breakfast style dinner to finish my calories! The hardest thing for me has always been my nutrition. I eat when I'm hungry, or tired, or happy, or stressed, at any time of day and in large portions! I believe I have over eaten by 50-1000 calories every day for the last year! I have gradually gained weight, almost without realising. My frozen berries were not surprisingly very cold, I wanted the chocolate fondant pudding!!
