There are those that claim that there are no body types and that everything is measured by hard work at the gym and in the kitchen and having been a trainer for over 10 years I can tell you and that's complete nonsense. And this is proven by science it is true that nobody should be obese however everybody does have their own weight set point people store fat in different places some people store more fat in their stomach area, other people store it more in their thighs, in the chest, and we also have different shapes to our muscle bellies, different lengths different thicknesses, different lagging muscle groups. The point is people really do come in all different shapes and sizes again this doesn't mean that you should be obese but it does mean that we can identify the shape or size that you're at by certain characteristics & apply certain training principles that have proven over time to work to move you towards your desired body shape. Okay so let's start with the test the way that this test works is I'm going to ask you a series of questions & your going to answer a b or c & either write down your answer or remember it because the letter that you answer with most often will help you identify what your body type is by the end of this test. Its a simple test & I'm sure you'll be surprised with the results. First question, do fitted jeans generally feel a. snug, but not too tight around your butt b. loose around your butt or c. tight around your butt. Pick the description that best fits your body Second question, if you wrap your hand around your wrist does your middle finger & your thumb a. just barely touch b. overlap or c. they don't touch. Next question would you characterize yourself as having a. a natural v shaped body b. a naturally very lean skinny long frame, or c. a naturally wide heavy frame. The fourth question requires a measuring tape so if you want to come back to it & leave it blank you can, but I highly recommend you do this one because it's very accurate. Is your chest measurement a. between 37 & 44 inches b. under 37 inches or c. greater than 44 inches? When you get to a measuring tape seriously do this one. The fifth question is how would you rate your metabolism a. fast, but you don't have a problem building muscle, b. so fast that it makes it difficult to put on muscle, or c. slow. Next question In relation to gaining weight its a. easy to gain muscle, but you don't typically gain too much fat. You may even see some ab definition while bukling b. you have trouble gaining muscle & gaining fat, in fact if you finally do gain a couple pounds your body fights to return you to your normal weight or are you more of a c. where its easy for you to put on muscle, but its also very easy for you to store fat especially around your midsection & love handles. Question number seven does your upper body resemble an a. upside down triangle, b. a rectangle that's vertically long & horizontally narrow or c. a square or round shape.two more questions. do you have an a. narrow rib cage thinner than your wider collar bones b. a narrow rib cage as narrow as your narrow collar bones & your narrow hips or c. a thick blocky rib cage as thick as your collar bones & your thick hips. And last question which body type do you look like in the mirror. a.b.or cIf you've answered a. to the majority of the questions you are at the mesomorph stage right now meaning you have a v-taper appearance. If you answered b to the majority of the questions then you are an ectomorph with more of a narrow lanky body, & if you answered c then you are an endomorph with wider thicker body. Now before I go any further I want to say that you are not stuck in your body type. That kind of thinking leads to people giving up & not working as hard at making the necessary changes to change your body type. And then it becomes a self fufilling prophecy. I don't care if you're the hardest gainer in the world, you can eat enough & drink enough soda if that's what it takes to spike your insulin to have you gain some weight. You may always struggle with building more muscle mass, but with enough work ethic & enough food you can achieve a mesomorph looking body. If you're an ectomorph focus on eating a diet high in protein & carbs.

Because after spending years building muscle naturally I've learned that there are certain useless exercises that you should avoid entirely other exercises that you might want to consider incorporating and then there are the exercises that you just cant go without. Exercises that by themselves have the power to transform your physique. I've narrowed this list down to just seven of the most important exercises that you absolutely should have as a staple part of your routine to efficiently build the most muscle in the shortest amount of time. By mastering these 7 key compound exercises you'll see incredible results even if you're not doing any other exercises in the gym. And I made this video specifically for men not because women can't benefit from these exercises as well but because the ideal attractive body type for men is a V shape whereas for women it's more of an hourglass figure. So even though a lot of the exercises do crossover for both men women this video is specifically to help you develop the best manly physique with the least amount of exercises possible. I'm going to list off these exercises in no particular order, so Let's start first with a very important upper body exercise the bent over barbell Row. With this exercise you'll be working the rhomboids which are the muscles that connect your shoulder blades together so your upper back muscles and you'll also be working the back of your shoulder and your biceps. This is one of the most important pulling movements that you can do. Because you're working multiple muscle groups responsible for Pulling you're able to lift a lot more weight with this compound exercise then if you were to isolate any one of these muscles individually. By strengthening your rhomboids and your posterior deltoid you'll be tightening up your upper back which will help you hold yourself straight up and maintain a better more attractive upright posture. Since you can lift heavy weight with this exercise your biceps are also going to get a lot of stimulation because you'll be lifting a weight that would be impossible to lift with an isolated movement like bicep curls. A basic bent over row is done by grabbing a barbell with your hands a little wider than shoulder-width apart. Stick your butt out and stick your chest out before beginning the movement. Then bend down by about 60 degrees so you're a little higher than being fully parallel to the ground and you want let the weight hang straight down, do not flex your shoulders. While keeping your chest out pull the barbell inward towards your stomach and aim to touch your belly button with the bar. Then bring it back down to that hanging position and repeat this motion for reps. The great thing about rows is that you can do it with a barbell or you can do it with dumbbells, but a general rule of thumb to remember is that you'll be able to lift more weight and typically you'll be able to build more mass with barbells over dumbbells. Also by changing the angles at which you bend during a bent over row you can Target different parts of your back. A fully bent-over position where you're at a 90 degree angle will Target more of your lats and the middle of your back whereas standing more upright will Target more of your traps and upper back. Let's move on to another staple exercise that you should be doing, barbell and dumbbell chest presses. While the rows will help you develop the posterior or the back part of your upper body the chest presses are there to help you develop the anterior or the front part of your upper body. It'll hit your chest, the front head of your shoulders as well as your triceps. With chest presses you want to spend the majority of your time doing them at two different angles flat and incline. If your weakness is your upper chest you want to spend more of your time doing incline presses. if your upper chest is fine but you lack lower chest development you want to spend more of your time doing flat movements. Now the reason why I didn't mention the decline angle is because with flat presses you're going to get

First off, I want to clear up any confusion you might have about BMI and Body fat percentage. These two are often confused as measuring the same thing. Basically, BMI is a ratio figure between your height and weight. To get your BMI result using the metric system, you simply divide your weight in kilograms by your height in meters, then divide the result by your height again. For example: a 73kg man who is 1.78m tall would do the below: 73 / 1.78 / 1.78 = 23.04 BMI Using pounds and inches, you can use the following formula: [weight (lb) / height (in) / height (in)] x 703 As you can see from the formulae above, there is nothing factored for age or amount of body fat. Therefore, a 73kg man could have 10% or 30% body fat and still fall in the exact same BMI range. In reality, they are both very different in terms of physical appearance and most likely physical health. Body fat percentage is exactly what it suggests. It’s the amount of body fat you have on your body. This is obviously completely exclusive to each person, so is a much better indicator than BMI. Low body fat will show more muscle definition so it will depend on what your goals are and help you reach an ideal body fat percentage for males. Your first step to lowering your body fat should definitely be to get your nutrition in order. This will make our work easier when drawing. Draw a slight line from top to bottom. This line will be useful if you make your drawing symmetrical. 2- I draw the head on the first box. I draw half of the first box. This part comes with figurative eyes. The first box is empty. We should split the second half into two. We will shoot our nose for this part. Then we draw the size and descend to the box below. 3- The shoulders should be in the second half of the box. 4- The arm braces should be on the fourth line. 5- Breasts should be on the third line. The sexual organ should be on the fifth line. 6- The hands must be in the fifth box. 7- The knees should be in the second half of the sixth box. 8- The feet must be in the last box. It’s shocking to see what use to be considered beautiful, but it’s even more shocking when you read about the unattainable goals women put in place for ourselves today. Body image issues have been an ongoing struggle for women over the years, and they’ve only become more and more prominent in recent times. If only it were still as simple as it was during the Italian Renaissance, when being skinny meant you were poor and being curvy meant you had enough money to properly nourish your body. Everyone’s opinion on what is beautiful differs from person to person; the ideals featured in this video are a broad look at what both men and women considered to be attractive in that day and age. From the androgynous look to the era of aerobics and skin-tight spandex, the standard of beauty is constantly evolving. But there is one thing remains the same, women will go to great lengths to look a certain way, the way they believe they’re suppose to. Every woman is beautiful, no matter your shape, and that’s something we should all keep in mind. This video in no way showcases how you’re suppose to look, it just shines a light on what the people believed to be the ideal woman throughout history. Hopefully in the decades to come, we’ll see that there is no specific ideal when it comes to how women should look. Inner beauty should be the only thing people focus on when thinking about the ideal woman. Until then, here’s a look at the crazy beliefs people possessed concerning what the perfect woman should look like in each time period. At least we don’t feel the need to wear airway-blocking corsets anymore.
