How to design a successful logo? How to build a famous brand for your business? Some of the most well-known logos in the world were purposefully designed to indicate something much more than simple beauty. In fact, it seems that in some cases, every line, curve, and color has meaning behind it. Adidas, Apple, BMW, Coca-Cola, Toyota… We see these famous brands everywhere but never consider what their logos exactly mean. Curious to know the secret? Watch the 16 famous logos with a hidden meaning you've never noticed. #logomeaning #logosecret # Hyundai 0:33 The letter ’Н’ symbolizes two people – a client and a representative of the company – shaking hands. Adidas 0:52 The current logo is three stripes at an angle which together form a triangle. This symbolizes a mountain, which in turn represents the challenges that all sportsmen have to overcome day after day. Apple 1:21 Rob Janoff, the designer who came up with the world-famous Apple company logo, explained his idea in one of his interviews. He bought a bag of apples, placed them in a bowl, and spent time drawing them for a week, trying to break the image down into something simple. Vaio 1:58 The first two letters of the Vaio logo symbolize an analogue wave. The last two are similar to the numbers 1 and 0 — that is, symbols of a digital signal. Amazon 2:14 The orange arrow is similar to a smile because the company wants its customers to be satisfied. The arrow is also stretched between the letters ’A’ and ’Z’, in a hint that the company sells absolutely every product you can imagine. Baskin Robbins 2:40 The pink-colored parts of the "BR" section make up the number 31, which is how many ice cream flavors Baskin Robbins used to famously sell. Toyota 2:56 The logo represents a stylized image of a needle eye with a thread passing through it. This is a hint at the company’s past – they used to produce weaving machines. Continental 3:28 Continental, a famous car tire producer, has a logo in which the first two letters depict a car wheel. Formula 1 3:41 If you look carefully at the white space between the letter ’F’ and the red stripes, you can see the number 1. Pinterest 3:59 On Pinterest, people collect images they like from across the Internet and ’pin’ them to their online boards. That’s why the image of a pin is hidden in the letter P. Beats 4:17 Beats, an audio equipment producer based in the USA, uses a logo in which the letter ’B’ looks like headphones on a person’s head. Toblerone 4:32 The famous chocolate company based in Bern, Switzerland, has a silhouette of a bear in its logo. That's because Bern is sometimes called a city of bears. BMW 4:55 The logo is simply a part of the Bavarian flag, the area of Germany where the company originated. LG 5:18 The logo is a stylized image of a person’s face. According to the company, this represents its aspiration to have human relations with their customers. Evernote 5:34 The corner of the elephant’s ear is folded over in a similar way how people fold the corner of a page to make notes. Coca-Cola 5:57 In the space between the letters ’O’ and ’L’, you can see the Danish flag. It’s purely a coincidence. Nevertheless, Coca-Cola has used this as part of its marketing campaigns in the Scandinavian country. If you’ve enjoyed this video, hit that thumbs up button! There are some luxury brands you simply shouldn't spend your hard earned money on. That's not to say luxury brands aren't worth it. There are many, many high quality companies out there putting out high quality products. There's a reason companies like Mercedes Benz and Tiffany have the reputation they do. But a lot of people assume that luxury brands are made better than other brands, and that simply isn't always the truth. This doesn't necessarily mean you should never ever splurge on a designer label dress or fancy accessories, but it does mean you should absolutely do your research before you shop luxury — and when you shop, shop around. The key with luxury is having the right combination of style, functionality, and quality that makes an item worth its price tag. The truth is there are a lot non-luxury brands out there that are also making quality items that are stylish and functional. So you have to ask yourself, in a side-by-side comparison, is the luxury brand version of an item worth the often very steep price increase? We would argue in the case of many brands the answer is no. Another layer to consider here is that a lot of brands, for whatever reason, develop reputations that far surpass what the company actually deserves, which just adds to the confusion. So whether you're looking to treat yourself to something nice or are shopping for the perfect gift, here are the luxury brands you shouldn't spend your money on. A logo is the face of a brand, and we often buy this or that item because its “face” is well-known to the world. Come on, don’t deny it! As for the best logos, they convey a hidden subtext that represents the company’s values, goals, or history. So, here are 12 world-famous logos with a secret hidden meaning! TIMESTAMPS: Airbnb 1:15 TripAdvisor 2:02 MasterCard 2:55 Dell 3:53 National Geographic 4:26 Vodafone 5:08 Haribo 6:00 Subway 6:37 DC Comics 7:29 Mozilla Firefox 8:15 Bacardi 9:09 Orbit 9:42 Preview photo credit: Firefox logo used since June 2013 (version 23.0 Beta), Previous version of logo, used since Firefox 3.5: By © The Mozilla Foundation, CC BY 3.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/deed.es, https://es.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archivo:Mozilla_Firefox_logo_2013.svg Animation is created by Bright Side Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY: - The logo contains 4 simple yet meaningful elements: the head of a person that represents a user of their site, the sign for a location on a map to show where the house or apartment is, a heart to represent love, and, finally, all of these symbols combine to make the letter “A” for Airbnb. - TripAdvisor’s logo is an owl, which symbolizes wisdom and knowledge. As for its different-colored eyes, they show that each traveler has a choice to make: green means go, and red means no! - The international payment system we all know these days as MasterCard was established in 1966 as Interbank. Red stands for bravery, passion, and for doing what makes you feel joy. The bright yellow symbolizes prosperity. - Ever wonder why the “E” in Dell’s logo is all askew? Well, the founder of the company, Michael Dell, wanted to convey the meaning of the popular idiom “turn the world on its ear,” which means to change something in an exciting way. - National Geographic, the popular magazine and channel that broadcasts documentaries in 171 countries, made its logo a yellow rectangle. The rectangle symbolizes a door that’s open to the world of knowledge about nature, science, and culture. Yellow and bright just like the Sun. - Vodafone is a British mobile provider that operates mostly in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania. The company chose a couple of mysterious things for its logo, which looks sort of like an earphone. The designers wanted to show that, with Vodafone, users can talk to each other any time they want. - The Haribo’s founder combined the first 2 letters of his first and last name, Hans Riegel, and added the first 2 letters of his hometown of Bonn. - The arrows on the first and last letters of the Subway logo are there for a reason: they actually stand for the entrance and exit to the subway. This way, the company demonstrates that, with Subway, you can eat on the go, like in the actual subway! - Jim Lee revealed what the new logo of DC Comics actually means. The nooks and angles are meant to evoke the Superman “S” symbol, the Wonder Woman “WW” emblem, and the Bat-Signal. - “Firefox” is the English translation of the Chinese name for a red panda. This way, the company wanted to demonstrate how unique they are because this is a very rare kind of panda that’s actually endangered. - The legend goes that the wife of Bacardi’s co-founder saw a bat in their liquor factory. But instead of getting scared and running for the exit, he took it as a sign and decided that this was exactly what should be on the logo. - If you look closely at the Orbit's logo, you’ll notice that the capital “O” is split into 2 parts: one dark and one light. In the background you can see the image of an orbit. So, it’s clear that the “O” symbolizes day and night and a planet revolving around the Sun. Italian ones such as Omas, maybe Parker, or you name it, however, the Montblanc Meisterstuck pen has been around for a very long time. 09:44 Goodyear Welted Shoes Which style you want heavily depends on what kind of lifestyle you live. A good year welted pair of shoes is usually made from a higher-quality leather than a glued pair of shoes. 11:11 Quality Belt I know belts are probably not something you might deem expensive because you can find them for $10 but you can also find some for $3,000. 13:22 Professional Camera I know most people today use cell phones and they think they are pro cameras but they're actually not. 14:39 Wallet A wallet is something you wear every day, you pull it out when you maybe pay for a business meal, and overall, it develops a nice patina if it's made of quality letter. 15:16 Smartphone Personally, I'd love to buy a modular phone so I could do exactly what I want without creating too much waste because as you know, with the technological advances in the smartphone market, we've new things coming out every month almost and because of that, we have a lot of old phones that are just discarded which is a huge waste and a big ecological problem. You’d think that the most successful companies in the world invest good money for their logos to be picture-perfect, yet even Google isn’t immune to messing up a logo design. Pay attention to 10 super famous company logos that are hiding something or have design fails and mistakes in them. We all know what the White House looks like, and you’d think there’d be no possible difficulties recreating it in an image. However, there were at least 3 attempts to create a logo, all of which resulted in mistakes. Wikipedia’s logo representing knowledge has a really embarrassing mistake right in the middle of the image! You wouldn’t catch it unless you know Chinese, so we’ll let you in on the big secret. Some people saw a man bending over vomiting in the London Olympics logo, while others were joking that it looked like Lisa Simpson in a compromising position. Salvador Dali hired to design the Chupa Chups logo put the brand’s name on a bright daisy and insisted that the logo be placed on top of the wrapper so that everyone could see it. And it’s basically stayed the same since then! When asked about the imperfection of letter “G” in their logo, Google chose the best route a person can when explaining his or her mistakes. They simply said that they’re aware of the inaccurate “G”, but that was all part of the plan! This slight imperfection makes their image playful and approachable. Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music TIMESTAMPS The White House 0:38 Wendy’s 1:29 Wikipedia 2:20 Hershey’s Kisses 3:28 The London Olympics 3:54 7-Eleven 4:42 Chupa Chups 5:17 Walt Disney 6:01 Pepsi 6:47 Google 7:17 SUMMARY -The designers of the White House’s logo made mistakes depicting the arch shape, mixed up the order of the windows and even lost pillars on the roof. -You might see nothing special in Wendy’s white and blue striped collar, but a closer look will reveal the word “mom” right in the center. -Wikipedia logo’s designer meant to write the Chinese word “wi”, but one tiny yet extra stroke made the symbol gibberish. -Lean your head towards your left shoulder, and you’ll get a sweet surprise: a chocolate kiss between the “K” and “I”. -Iranian participants in the London Olympic Games were upset by the peculiar style of the numbers 2012 because they read the word “Zion” in it. -All the letters in the word “eleven” in 7-Eleven logo are capitalized, except for one: the “n”. -The creator of Chupa Chups Spaniard Enric Bernat picked the most famous surrealist artist in the world Salvador Dali himself to design the new brand logo. -Those elegant swirls in the “W”, “i” and “y” in Disney logo look exactly like three sixes in a row. -If you wanna see what Pepsi can potentially do to you, just add a little circle on top of its logo, some arms and legs, and voila. -The letter “G” in Google logo doesn’t look the way it should. It’s not the complete perfect circle it’s supposed to be, and the inner circle is also far from ideal. See more at www.brilliantnews.com Branding nowadays is absolutely everywhere you look. We are constantly bombarded with so many icons and logos that we rarely stop to look further into them, but there are some very interesting and bizarre secrets hiding within these 10 famous logos! 1. Hyundai Bet you think the H logo is just the first letter of the South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai? Of course you do! But it actually represents two figures: the happy client shaking hands with the Hyundai salesman, cleverly projecting the subliminal message of a successful car purchase. 2. Apple It was Rob Janoff who was tasked with creating the apple logo back in 1977. Janoff bought a bag of apples and spent the week sketching them, trying to represent the perfect angle where the fruit couldn´t be mistaken for a cherry. This was when he added a bite mark and stumbled across the similarity between Bite and Byte. This was definitely a selling point for Steve Jobs. 3. Vaio The first two letters in the computer company's name symbolize a digital waveform and the io is designed to look like a 1 and a 0, representing binary and the mix of analog and digital. Also the melody that sounds on startup actually derives from the dialtone sounds on a telephone keypad on typing V-A-I-O 4. Amazon Always aiming to please, Amazon designed their logo to represent a smile, projecting a sense of satifaction in their brand. Not only that, but the arrow also starts at ´a´ and finishes at 'z' implying that the company stocks every product you could possibly desire. 5. Toyota T-o-y-o-t-a. All the letters of the companies name can be found within the logo. But what does it represent? You're thinking A big strong buffalo's head or a cowboy with a hat, right? Wrong! It actually represents a needle and thread! This Japanese car manufacturer actually began making weaving machines and keeps its logo to this day! 6. Continental Sometimes overlooked, the continental logo is simple and clever. The first two letters are designed to symbolize a car wheel. 7. Toblerone This awkward-to-eat chocolate treat doesn't just have a simple mountain in its logo. Toblerone is made in Bern, Switzerland, so it´s no surprise to see one of the Swiss alps in its logo. But it also hides a secret bear hidden in the mountain, as Bern is known as the city of bears and the bear symbol is heavily decorated throughout the city. 8. BMW The German motor company started out making airplanes in 1916 and many think that the checker pattern in its logo represents the spinning propellers of an airplane. But it is actually just the design of the Bavarian flag, the part of Germany where the company originated. 9. Domino's Pizza In 1960 College dropout Tom Monaghan borrowed $900 to by a tiny pizza placed called Dominic's. 5 years later he bought 2 more locations. The former owner refused Tom the permission to use his name in the franchise so Tom turned it into Domino's. The dice in the logo represent the first restaurant that he bought, followed by the next two, and he had planned on adding numbers on every new opening. That was before he realized how big the franchise would become. 10. Unilever Who is Unilever, right? It's actually a huge corporation which owns over 400 famous brands. You've only got to look on the back of any of these popular products to find their logo hiding there. (Axe, Lipton, Ben and Jerry's, Dove, Heartbrand, Hellman's) But that's not all, the actual unilever logo is made up of 25 smaller logos, each with a rich meaning. A strand of hair or an icecream representing various brands, to more obscure references, like this bee... Which of these logos surprised you the most? Comment Below!

For any copyright matter please contact us [email protected] Crappiest Knock Off Brands Ever We all love our name brands, but not everyone can afford them. So less expensive brands often try to knock off more expensive brands in an attempt to drive some of that money their way. Did you ever see that episode of Sabrina the Teenage Witch where she finds out she can't zap in name brand products so she has to conjure up things like "Butterthumbs" instead of Butterfingers candy and "Hey Over Here!" instead of a Yahoo chocolate milk? Well, that's basically exactly what these companies are doing, except sometimes their attempts are much, much worse. Enjoy it ! Please Share & Subscribe my channel for more! Dumbest ways companies have failed to predict the future or made decisions that bankrupted them! Whatever happened to Blockbuster and Borders? Find out on this countdown of epic business blunders! #9. “Kodak”- The Eastman Kodak Company was founded in 1888 and was the most successful company in the photography industry during the 20th Century. They were the leaders in bringing the cutting edge of photographic technology and easy to use cameras to the hands of consumers throughout the world. But Kodak almost met its demise at the hands of a product that it actually invented: digital photography. Kodak invented this technology in 1975, but failed to jump on the innovation, believing that common applications for it were well into the future. Early on, the company thought that the high cost and complexity that would be needed to make a push into the digital front weren’t in Kodak’s best interests. So, Kodak put digital photography to the side to be picked back up when the time was financially advantageous, but they waited too long. By the time they switched gears, they faced competitors who had been perfecting their business models with digital photography at the center, whereas Kodak’s model was still dependent on printed photos. While other companies made deals with websites, phone companies and focused on online based imaging, Kodak floundered and in 2012 filed for Bankruptcy. They have since come back from bankruptcy and started specializing in producing smartphones and tablets. #8. “Pan American”- From 1927 until 1991, Pan Am was the largest airline company in the United States, but due to bad foresight, callous labor practices and an uncontrollable disaster this global giant quickly met its end. The company basically had a monopoly on overseas travel until World War II but was dealt its first major blow when other strong airline companies began to up their game. Pan Am fought off the competitors with its innovations such as jumbo jets and an advanced system for making reservations but these innovations couldn’t match the corporate aptitude and human relations that the other airlines dealt with more astutely. One of the main reasons for Pan Am’s failure was ironically due to its early successes. Because of the sheer size of its fleet, it was the company hit the hardest by the 1973 oil crisis. Just before the crisis, Pan Am had just purchased a number of brand new gas-guzzling Boeing 747s and was forced to dramatically raise ticket prices to recuperate. As it was trying to recover from this setback it had also become a target of terrorism in the Middle East. To the terrorists Pan Am was a symbol of the United States overseas because it was the largest U.S. airline servicing the area. During the Gulf War, in the midst of financial hardships and battles with labor unions, Pan American 103 on a transatlantic flight from Frankfurt, Germany to Detroit was blown up by Libyan nationals above the Scottish town of Lockerbie. The incident scared even more customers away from flying Pan Am and many travel agents would no longer book flights on their planes. All of these events and poor managing of them led Pan American International Airways to declare bankruptcy and completely fold in 1991. #7. “Borders”- Tom and Louis Borders opened their first bookstore in 1971. Their vast selection of books and innovative inventory system turned them into the second biggest chain of book megastores. Due to years of miscalculating the future of book consumption, the bookstore all but vanished in 2011. It all started in the mid 90s when Amazon and other online stores hit the scene. Instead of developing their own website and focusing on online sales, the company decided to further their storefront endeavors and expanded into Europe and Asia opening hundreds of stores. Their competitor Barnes and Noble, did the opposite by preparing for the digital age, perfecting their online sales system and focusing on their storefront operations in the United States. When Borders did start to catch on to the online market they were already far behind and decided to use Amazon as a host for such sales. Because of this, as more and more sales were made online, instead of receiving 100% of the profit they had to share with Amazon. Borders also was caught in the past by devoting lots of money and inventory towards DVDs and CDs at a time when digital music and video was on the rise. While Barnes and Noble developed it’s own e-reader to grab paperless book market by the horns, Borders was extremely slow to adapt to the change. All of these factors came to a boiling point in 2006 when, after several years of losing millions of dollars Borders filed for bankruptcy. By 2011, Borders realized there was no way out and closed most of its remaining stores. The only stores remaining are in southeast asia where it remain Borders in name only, as they were sold to a company named Popular Holdings.

What you should and shouldn’t buy at the dollar tree. Shopping at any dollar store is fun and ridiculously easy on the wallet, there are certain things you should avoid buying, and this video will tell you just what exactly those things are! #DollarTree #DollarStore #Shopping Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music Summary: It doesn’t matter what your income is, the dollar tree is a haven for everyone. We all know that the rule “you get what you paid for” applies to most things in life, including dollar tree products. It can be ridiculously fun to shop at the dollar tree. Whether it be going on a shopping spree for items for your new apartment, or just shopping for party supplies, the dollar tree seems to literally have everything. From cheap do it yourself products to everything in between, the dollar tree can seem like heaven for people who want to go on a cheap shopping spree. Here are some things that you absolutely should buy at the dollar tree! Party supplies and gift wrap. The dollar tree has some pretty amazing do it yourself products that you can use to make party supplies and gifts. And, of course, seasonal decorations, gift bags, wrapping paper, and cards the dollar tree the go-to place for all things that involve decorating and parties. Dollar stores dedicate aisles for this kind of stuff and it’s what they’re best at, particularly temporary goods for things like events. Party prep is never fully done without a trip to the dollar store. Glassware. Most of the glass products at your local dollar tree are just as good as the stuff you find in Walmart. This includes: drinking glasses, frames, vases, decorative bowls and mugs. Dollar stores have a lot of different colors and styles in all of those items, so you’re bound to find something you like. The dollar tree is one of the best places to shop for things you need for your apartment - especially fi you just move in somewhere and need a whole laundry list of new items. The glassware is ridiculously cheap, and whether you need new cups, forks, knives, or even handy things like laundry bins, you better believe that the dollar tree has it. You can potentially save yourself hundreds of dollars by shopping at the dollar store as opposed to bigger stores like walmart, where you are likely to pay much, much more for the same items. Cleaning supplies. When it comes to cleaning supplies, most of them all contain the same ingredients that get the job done. It may not have the same appealing packaging as big brands or the same exquisite scent, but dollar tree cleaning supplies are just as good as brand-name when it comes to cleaning. Candy. Candy is candy no matter where you buy it and the dollar tree has all the same brands you’ll find anywhere else. Most of the time, you can get the same chocolate bars or sweet treats for a fraction of the price you would at a convenience store. You can buy a ridiculous amount of candy at the dollar tree for a ridiculously low rice, which is why it is one of the best places to stock up on candy. Not only will you save money, but you’ll also satisfy your sweet tooth! Hair accessories. While you should probably err on the side of caution when it comes to actual hair products, hair accessories are fair game. From elastic bands to barrettes to scrunchies, the dollar tree usually has some incredible bargains compared to more commercialized outlets. Do it yourself items: the dollar tree has all sorts of crafts and handy do it yourself products and tools you can buy that can help you make pretty much any craft. Whether you’re thinking of making something for your home or are considering making a unique gift for a friend, the dollar store has everything you need. If you’re a do it yourself type of person, the dollar tree is probably your second home, and we don’t blame you! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe to Bestie : https://goo.gl/tUqro6 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bestieinc/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

During my morning and evening skincare routines I frequently use skincare products from the Revolution Skincare brand. I love the Revolution SkinCare London's skin care product selection and price. Revolution Skincare is a branch of the brand Makeup Revolution. Makeup Revolution London was formed several years ago by two British gentleman. The original name of the brand was TAM Beauty. Recently the name was officially changed, but the ownership remains the same. Makeup Revolution started making affordable beauty products such as eyeshadow palettes, face palettes, foundations, and concealers. Makeup Revolution became infamous for making palette "dupes" of other hot and trendy products at the moment. One thing the industry has noticed is how fast Makeup Revolution brings products from conception to market, further capitalizing on current beauty trends such as metallic shadows, bold highlighter palettes, and contouring. Profits from the Makeup Revolution have more than tripled over the last few years. On the upswing of their huge success and rampant distribution network, Makeup Revolution launched a highly anticipated skin care line called Revolution SkinCare London. Revolution SkinCare London offers a large line of simple and affordable skincare products. Many of their products are very similar to other products already available from other affordable and expensive skin care brands. Some of my favorite Makeup Revolution products are the EGF Serum, the Multi Peptide Serum, the Lightweight Hydration Cream, and their Niacinamide & Zinc Blemish Serum. Many of their products have been compared to products from Deciem's The Ordinary. This comparison is fair because both The Ordinary and Revolution SkinCare share a lot of commonalities. Both companies sell cruelty free, affordable, decently packaged serums that you can use to customize your own skincare routine. Most of Makeup Revolution's products are fragrance free. That aspect makes this brand wonderful for those of us with sensitive skin. I do recommend checking ingredient labels when possible. Their Superfruit Extract Antioxidant Rich Serum & Primer is one of their only products that contains fragrance, and this serum / primer is fragrant. I tend to stay away from that product because I find the scent to be a little too much for me. In general, the Makeup Revolution London brand is an affordable, cruelty free, brand that caters towards people with sensitive or acne prone skin. There are some hidden gems in this collection so I highly recommend you check them out! My last little "gripe" is that glass dropper bottles can be such a pain to store and also impossible to travel with, but... oh well! ******** I am proud to offer my very own beauty products at Amazon. We are starting small but hope to grow these offerings. Take a look and if you can pick one or two up, it helps keep this channel truly independent. NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Nine times out of 10, pharmacists and doctors will buy the generic version of aspirin, rather than a brand-name like Bayer. Likewise, professional chefs prefer store-brand sugar, salt and baking powder instead of brand name ingredients. In short, the most informed consumers usually buy generic products, claims a new paper by economists from Tilburg University in the Netherlands and the University of Chicago. Their research estimates Americans are wasting about $44 billion a year on name brands, when they could be buying the exact same products if they switched to cheaper store brands. Store brand products cost on average about half the price of national brands. Take that bottle of aspirin for example. A 100-tablet package of 325 mg Bayer Aspirin costs $6.29 on CVS.com. The CVS version? Just $2.27 when it's regularly priced, and $1.14 when it's on sale. They both have the same dosage, directions and active ingredient. But about a quarter of sales on headache remedy drugs in the U.S. go to brand-name products. So why then are some consumers paying so much for Bayer? The paper suggests ads are more likely to mislead all but the most knowledgeable consumers. College-educated shoppers, for example, are less likely to get duped into buying the more expensive brand-name than the broader public. Meanwhile, the experts -- like pharmacists and physicians -- are the least likely of all to buy the brand name drug. Whereas the average household buys brand-name pain killers like Bayer, Advil and Tylenol 26% of the time, pharmacists buy brand names only 9% of the time. A similar trend turns up at grocery stores. Whereas the average consumer pays for brand-name salt, sugar and baking powder 40% of the time, the most informed foodies -- professional chefs -- only buy these brands 20% of the time, The study used Nielsen data tracking 77 million shopping trips by about 125,000 households. In addition to aspirin and baking supplies, it also tracked groceries like milk and eggs, soda, and cereal, and other healthcare products like cold remedies, bandages and contact lens solution. Contact lens solution was the only healthcare product where the smartest consumers perceive "true quality differences," the study said. Correction: Originally, this story linked to a bottle of Bayer aspirin that cost $6.99. That price was for "safety-coated" tablets. We've since changed the price to $6.29 to reflect regular aspirin, so we're truly comparing Bayer to the comparable CVS product. Story from CNN Money.

This week, "brand exposure" is a phrase many business owners use to talk about getting their company names or products and services noticed by the public. While most entrepreneurs market their ideas alone, you don't have to. There's another option called co-branding. It's a chance for business owners to pair up and sell products or services together.
