Food processing is the transformation of raw ingredients, by physical or chemical means into food, or of food into other forms. Food processing combines raw food ingredients to produce marketable food products that can be easily prepared and served by the consumer. Food processing typically involves activities such as mincing and macerating, liquefaction, emulsification, and cooking (such as boiling, broiling, frying, or grilling); pickling, pasteurization, and many other kinds of preservation; and canning or other packaging. (Primary-processing such as dicing or slicing, freezing or drying when leading to secondary products are also included). A machine is a tool containing one or more parts that uses energy to perform an intended action. Machines are usually powered by chemical, thermal, or electrical means, and are often motorized. Historically, a power tool also required moving parts to classify as a machine. However, the advent of electronics has led to the development of power tools without moving parts that are considered machines. Dairy products are food produced from the milk of mammals Butter, cheese, yogurt, sour cream, ice cream, milk, and whey protein are the most common examples of dairy products. EGGS ARE NOT DAIRY Eggs come from chickens and are a bird– therefore are not dairy. Now let’s look at 6 facts and studies about dairy for your health. Fact #1. 65-75% of People in the World Are Lactose Intolerant. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lactose_intolerance We’ve only been consuming diary for around 7,500 years starting in Northern Europe. Since modern humans have been around for roughly 200,000 years, we can see that dairy consumption is a relatively new thing to our species. This is why certain parts of Africa and East Asia are up to 95% lactose intolerant. http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0002822300001620 Some of you may develop severe acne while others may just feel a little gassey after consuming dairy. Fact #2. There’s Lots of Nutrition in Dairy Products A single cup of milk contains 30% of your RDA in Calcium 24% of your RDA in Vitamin D 26% of you RDA in Riboflavin And has plenty of potassium, protein, vitamin B12, and various other nutrients your body needs. http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/dairy-and-egg-products/69/2 There’s no denying that dairy provides a unique source of nutrients important to our body. Fact #3. Dairy is Associated with Acne Dairy increases the production mTORC1. This increases the bodies sebum production and sizes of sebaceous glands which increases your risk of acne. https://nutritionandmetabolism.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/1743-7075-9-74 http://www.karger.com/Article/FullText/325580 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3141390/ Fact #4. Not All Dairy Seems to Be Equal Fermented dairy products like yogurt and keifer contain probiotics which are excellent for your gut microbiome. Also, the quality of the cow’s life and what it’s fed effects the nutrition of the dairy product produced. Pasture raised grass fed cows have more Omega 3s and have up to 500% more CLA in their products. http://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0082429 http://www.csuchico.edu/grassfedbeef/research/health-benefits.shtml Not shockingly happy cows leading happy lives produce better dairy products. Fact #5. There’s A Lot of Sugar Content in Dairy Products Dairy contains a naturally occurring sugar called lactose that is in EVERY dairy product you consume. Fact #6. Dairy’s increases IGF-1 IGF-1 (or Insulin-like Growth Factor), is statistically increased from the consumption of dairy. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2715202/ IGF-1 production increases your risk of acne and developing cancer. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15562834 That being said, not all IGF-1 is bad. For instance, it has clear benefits to those of you trying to build muscle and gain strength. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2439518/ Why are there lots of recent studies out there praising dairy? Dalla dolla bill yall The diary industry alone spent 6.4 million dollars lobbying last year. Food for thought. Is Dairy Bad for You? It depends on the person. If you’re lactose intolerant, suffer with acne, or have any reason you think your body doesn’t process dairy perfectly - I would avoid it. However, it if you really enjoy it as a source of nutrition in your diet, and don’t suffer from the side effects. It’s ok to have. Which leads to the next question… Do you need dairy in your diet? Absolutely not. While diary does have lots of important nutrition like calcium, protein, and Vitamin B12, you can easily get those from other sources. Leafy greens, lean meats, and whole foods have all those nutrients WITHOUT all the sugar or hormone increases dairy. I personally don’t consume dairy for this reason. Does Dairy Help You Lose Weight? No. Weight loss is about having two things working correctly. Eating the Right Amount of Calories AND Having Properly Functioning Hormones. Dairy provides no advantage to losing weight and if you have an intolerance could impede some weight loss progress. What are the best kinds of dairy to consume? If you’re going to get your dairy on, Low-fat unflavored greek yogurt, keifer, and grass fed whey protein are the best. If you’re going to drink milk, make sure it’s organic. What kind of dairy should you never consume? Anything non-organic I’d avoid. Because dairy is already shown to raise IGF-1, avoiding any extra chemicals pumped into cows is a good idea.

How to make Dahi,Paneer, and Butter at home easily/best dairy product
catch me https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRwRXvnIG8Ja4k-168Po8DA Homemade dairy products are not exactly like commercially produced dairy products — in every instance, I have found that homemade products are superior! The texture tends to be thicker and creamier, and the homemade products are made without artificial thickeners or fillers. You can also control the amount of sodium added (if you choose to add any) and the amount of butterfat you wish to use. This is also an easy way to add more local and/or organic dairy products into your diet in a very affordable manner. Ananda Dairy Factory: Milk Consumption and Production
"Ananda” is a privately-owned Indian dairy product manufacturer, based at Bulandshahr, in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The company was set up by visionary Chairman Radhey Shyam Dixit in 1989, during the Phase-III of Operation Flood, which is also known as the White Revolution of India, a concept of Dr. Verghese Kurien. Ananda has over 5000 village and more than 2,00,000 dairy farmers from Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab under its supply network. The current production capacity of the company is 1,500,000 liters of milk a day, out of which they collect over an average of 8,00,000 liters of milk from dairy farmers. Ananda’s authorized outlets are present at 20 locations across Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR), Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. The milk is collected from the farm every 24 or 48 hours. Tankers have a special stainless steel body which is heavily insulated to keep the milk cold during transportation to the processing factory. A representative sample is collected from each farm pickup prior to being pumped onto the tanker. Samples from the bulk milk tanker are tested for antibiotic and temperature before the milk enters the factory processing area. Whole milk, once approved for use, is pumped into storage silos where it undergoes pasteurization, homogenization and further processing. Then the milk is sent off to your favourite store for sale to the general public.

Too much milk in Europe | DW Documentary
Europe produces too much milk. The surplus milk is processed by the ton into powdered milk for export to Africa. The results can be disastrous. African milk farmers simply cannot compete with European price dumping. Our agricultural exports torpedo all development efforts. European dairy products sell for next to nothing – it’s just one of the consequences of the crisis that has been raging since the abolition of milk quotas in 2015. Never before was milk so cheap in our supermarkets: European farmers have reacted to falling prices with rising production. But what happens to what is not sold here? Export is the magic word for policy makers in German agriculture. For countries like Cameroon, the wave of milk washing over it from Europe is a disaster. These developments stifle promising approaches within the country’s dairy sector. Dairies, some of them even funded with European development aid, lie empty because the farmers refuse to deliver milk to them. They know that their milk has no chance against the indirectly subsidized produce from Europe. "It’s not fair”, says Hayatou El Hadji Souley, dairy farmer in Cameroon. "We should be increasing our home production in order to improve people’s lives here”. That is exactly what German politicians are calling for, too. They want conditions to improve in Africa so that economic migrants won’t feel obliged to come to Europe. Our documentary shows that European dumping prices are the opposite of what Cameroon needs to have a healthy dairy industry. _______ Exciting, powerful and informative – DW Documentary is always close to current affairs and international events. Food & Beverage playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL12ED9F0F94A97DA0 more at http://food.quickfound.net/ "A Film Lesson in Health and Hygiene." Why you should drink milk, and eat cheese & butter, combined with other foods. Originally a public domain film from the Library of Congress Prelinger Archives, slightly cropped to remove uneven edges, with the aspect ratio corrected, and one-pass brightness-contrast-color correction & mild video noise reduction applied. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dairy_product Wikipedia license: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ Dairy products are generally defined as food produced from the milk of mammals (the Food Standards Agency of the United Kingdom defines dairy as "foodstuffs made from mammalian milk"). They are usually high energy-yielding food products. A production plant for the processing of milk is called a dairy or a dairy factory. Apart from breastfed infants, the human consumption of dairy products is sourced primarily from the milk of cows, yet goats, sheep, yaks, camels, and other mammals are other sources of dairy products consumed by humans. Dairy products are commonly found in European, Middle Eastern and Indian cuisine, whereas aside from Mongolian cuisine they are little-known in traditional East Asian cuisine... Types of dairy products - Milk after optional homogenization, pasteurization, in several grades after standardization of the fat level, and possible addition of bacteria Streptococcus lactis and Leuconostoc citrovorum - Crème fraîche, slightly fermented cream - Clotted cream, thick, spoonable cream made by heating - Smetana, Central and Eastern European variety of sour cream - Cultured milk resembling buttermilk, but uses different yeast and bacterial cultures - Kefir, fermented milk drink from the Northern Caucasus - Kumis/Airag, slightly fermented mares' milk popular in Central Asia - Powdered milk (or milk powder), produced by removing the water from (usually skim) milk - Whole milk products - Buttermilk products - Skim milk - Whey products - Ice cream... Concerns Health Dairy products can cause health issues for individuals who have lactose intolerance or a milk allergy. Some dairy products such as blue cheese may become contaminated with the fungus Aspergillus fumigatus during ripening, which can trigger asthma and other respiratory problems in susceptible individuals. Dairy products if consumed after the expiry date can cause serious heart problems. Vegan advocates, such as John A. McDougall, Caldwell Esselstyn, Neal D. Barnard, Dean Ornish, Michael Greger, and T. Colin Campbell, have argued that high animal fat and protein diets, such as the standard American diet, are detrimental to health, and that a low-fat vegan diet may both prevent and reverse degenerative diseases such as coronary artery disease and diabetes. Avoidance of Dairy Products Some groups avoid dairy products for non-health related reasons: - Religious - Some religions restrict or do not allow for the consumption of dairy products. For example, some scholars of Jainism advocate not consuming any dairy products because dairy is perceived to involve violence against cows. Strict Judism requires that meat and dairy products are not served at the same meal, served or cooked in the same utensils, or stored together as prescribed in Deuteronomy 14:21. - Ethical - Veganism is the avoidance of all animal products, including dairy products, most often due to the ethics regarding how dairy products are produced. The ethical reasons for avoiding dairy include how dairy is produced, how the animals are handled, and the environmental effect of dairy production...

Take Dr. Berg's Advanced Evaluation Quiz: http://bit.ly/EvalQuiz Your report will then be sent via email analyzing 104 potential symptoms, giving you a much deeper insight into the cause-effect relationship of your body issues. It's free and very enlightening. Dr. Berg talks about keto and dairy. The ketogenic diet requires you keep your carb low and especially sugars down to zero. Yogurts are out - because they contains lots of sugar, even the plain has 10 grams of sugar. Milk is pretty high - 12 grams sugar, but cheese, certain cheeses are zero sugars, but in general cheese is okay because it has very low sugar except for processed cheese, which is crazy high - 19 grams. Half and half is fairly low and whole cream is even better. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, 51 years of age is a chiropractor who specializes in weight loss through nutritional and natural methods.
