I've read 45 business & entrepreneurship books this year (out of 7 gazillion), and I'm excited to share my top choice for best business book of 2017! I also give you a quick synopsis of the book, too. My criteria for best book is as follows: 1. Most actionable. 2. Most relevant. 3. It's helped me get RESULTS. Note: please know that I didn't consider whether the book was published in 2017 or not. It's simply what book in 2017 did I read that really made a huge difference. Thanks! Big thanks to Chris Ducker for this book recommendation, and it's a bonus that this is actually a self-published book, one of the few from the lot that I read this year. We go through Google AdWords Audiences that you can target on the Search, Display, Video, and App networks. You can target Customer List audiences created from upload your email list, Remarketing audiences, App users, Website Visitors, and YouTube viewers. You can use the Audiences you create in Google Analytics and Google AdWords in your PPC Advertising Google AdWords campaign. For example, you can target people with relevant ads based on the products they viewed on your ecommerce website. You can target people on your email list who are also using Gmail or browsing the internet. You can target people who have viewed your YouTube videos. You can target people who use your App. There are so many options in terms of targeting and Audiences can be a great way to drive leads, conversions, and sales. We start the video by going through Google Analytics Remarketing audiences. You want to go to the Admin screen, Audience Definitions, and then Audiences. From there, you can set-up all sorts of different audiences. You can then click to create a New Audience and you can choose from the following options: Smart List, All Users, New Users, Returning Users, Users who visited a specific section of my site (e.g. /index.html, shirts, /cart/), Users who completed a goal conversion, Users who completed a transaction. Then you need to set your Audience name, click Next Step, and then publish the Audience to your Google AdWords account. We highly recommend creating a Smart List to begin with as well as an All Users audience for 30 days. In addition, you want to segment out your visitors based on the products, services, or interests they have based on the webpages they are visiting on your website. The more targeted you can make your Remarketing audiences, the better chance you have to drive sales.

The ACM Recommender System conference (RecSys) is the premier international forum for the presentation of new research results, systems and techniques in the broad field of recommender systems. Recommendation is a particular form of information filtering, that exploits past behaviors and user similarities to generate a list of information items that is personally tailored to an end-user’s preferences. As RecSys brings together the main international research groups working on recommender systems, along with many of the world’s leading e-commerce companies, it has become the most important annual conference for the presentation and discussion of recommender system research. RecSys 2014, the eighth conference in this series, was held in Silicon Valley. It brought together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to present their latest results and identify new trends and challenges in providing recommendation components in a range of innovative application contexts. In addition to the main technical track, RecSys 2014 program featured keynote and invited talks, tutorials covering state-of-the-art in this domain, a workshop program, an industrial track and a doctoral symposium. Published papers went through a rigorous full peer review process. The conference proceedings, which are available both on a USB drive and via the ACM Digital Library, are expected to be widely read and cited. ACM RecSys 2014 took place at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Foster City, Silicon Valley, California from Oct 6-10, 2014. To accommodate the numerous researchers who could not register for this year’s technical conference and to possibly mitigate local traffic, the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday program was streamed real-time on the official ACM RecSys YouTube Channel.
