Catholic Morning Prayer

03:57
+In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Adoration and Thanksgiving Unto the King of ages, the immortal, invisible, and only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. Heavenly Father, thank you for the innumerable blessing which I have received from your loving kindness, especially for having preserved me this night. Morning Offering O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in reparation for my sins, for the intentions of all my relatives and friends, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father. Amen. Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of death. Amen. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen. The Apostles’ Creed I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son Our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into Hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen. The Angelus The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary. And she conceived of the Holy Spirit. Hail Mary… Behold the handmaid of the Lord. Be it done unto me according to thy word. Hail Mary… And the WORD was made flesh. And dwelt among us. Hail Mary… Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Let us Pray: Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts; that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ Thy Son was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and cross, be brought to the glory of His resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen. Saint Michael Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; may God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen. Saint Joseph, pray for us. +Lord Bless Me, protect me from all evil, and bring me to everlasting life. Amen.

Roman Catholic Lord's Prayer Sung During Mass

02:36
The Catholic version of the "Our Father" prayer does not contain the "Doxology". There are good biblical reasons for the omission of this doxology from New English and other popular versions of the prayer:- "For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours. Now and for ever. Amen" (New English Version) Common bible versions, such as the New International Version, and the Contemporary English Version, exclude the doxology from the Lord's Prayer in the main body of the text (in Matthew 6:9-13), and instead feature it as a footnote on the page. Critical editions of the New Testament used by the United Bible Societies (an organisation representing 145 national bible societies) concur that this doxology does not belong to the original manuscripts of Matthew's gospel, and seems to have been added at a later date. In 1963, the Second Vatican Council decreed a revision of the liturgy (undertaken by the ICEL, International Commission on English in the Liturgy). In 1969, the doxology was added to the Catholic Mass, not as part of the "Our Father", but following shortly afterwards. In the Mass, the Lord's Prayer is spoken together, followed by the Priest praying: "Deliver us, Lord, from every evil, and grant us peace in our day. In your mercy keep us free from sin and protect us from all anxiety as we wait in joyful hope for the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ." and then the doxology ("For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever") is prayed by the congregation. This section of the mass falls just before the sharing of the peace, where the priest wishes the congregation the peace of Christ with the words "The peace of the Lord be with you always" and all who are present share God's peace by shaking hands or embracing each other (depending on the customs of the church). Pray The Rosary, The Glorious Mysteries, Wednesday And Sunday, No Music, No Ads, HD

19:55
The Rosary (Latin: rosarium, in the sense of "crown of roses" or "garland of roses"), usually in the form of the Dominican Rosary, is a type of prayer used especially in the Catholic Church named for the string of knots or beads used to count the component prayers. When used as the type of prayer, the word is usually capitalized ("the Rosary"), as is customary for other names of prayers, such as "the Lord's Prayer", and "the Hail Mary". When referring to the beads, it is normally written with a lower-case initial ("a rosary"). The prayers that essentially compose the Rosary are arranged in several sets, each set composed of one Lord's Prayer followed by ten Hail Marys followed by one Glory Be. During recitation of each set, known as a decade, thought is given to one of the Mysteries of the Rosary, which recall events in the lives of Jesus and Mary. The Glorious mysteries are said on Sunday and Wednesday, the Joyful on Monday and Saturday, the Sorrowful on Tuesday and Friday, and the Luminous Mysteries are said on Thursday. Normally, five decades are recited in a session. Various prayers are sometimes added after each decade (for example, the Fátima Prayer), at the beginning (in particular, the Apostles' Creed), and at the end (in particular, the Hail, Holy Queen). The rosary as a material object is an aid towards saying these prayers in the proper sequence. A standard fifteen Mysteries of the Rosary, based on the long-standing custom, was established by Pope Pius V during the 16th century, grouping the mysteries in three sets: the Joyful Mysteries, the Sorrowful Mysteries, and the Glorious Mysteries. During 2002 Pope John Paul II said that it is fitting that a new set of five be added, termed the Luminous Mysteries, bringing the total number of mysteries to twenty. These mysteries had been used by Holy Cross father Patrick Peyton during the 20th Century. For more than four centuries, the rosary has been promoted by several popes as part of the veneration of Mary in Roman Catholicism,[4] and consisting essentially in meditation on the life of Christ.[5] The rosary also represents the Roman Catholic emphasis on "participation in the life of Mary, whose focus was Christ", and the Mariological theme "to Christ through Mary." The word Rosary means "Crown of Roses". Our Lady has revealed to several people that each time they say a Hail Mary they are giving her a beautiful rose and that each complete Rosary makes her a crown of roses. The rose is the queen of flowers, and so the Rosary is the rose of all devotions and it is therefore the most important one. The Holy Rosary is considered a perfect prayer because within it lies the awesome story of our salvation. With the Rosary in fact we meditate the mysteries of joy, of sorrow and the glory of Jesus and Mary. It's a simple prayer, humble so much like Mary. It's a prayer we can all say together with Her, the Mother of God. With the Hail Mary we invite Her to pray for us. Our Lady always grants our request. She joins Her prayer to ours. Therefore it becomes ever more useful, because what Mary asks She always receives, Jesus can never say no to whatever His Mother asks for. In every apparition, the heavenly Mother has invited us to say the Rosary as a powerful weapon against evil, to bring us to true peace. With your prayer made together with Your heavenly Mother, you can obtain the great gift of bringing about a change of hearts and conversion. Each day, through prayer you can drive away from yourselves and from your homeland many dangers and many evils. It can seem a repetitive prayer but instead it is like two sweethearts who many times say one another the words: "I love you"... The Blessed Holy Father John Paul II on October 16th, 2002 with the Apostolic Letter Rosarium Virginis Mariae on the Most Holy Rosary has added 5 new mysteries of the Rosary: The Mysteries of the Light.

Catholic Evening Prayer

02:11
+O God, come to my assistance. Lord make haste to help me. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen. [Recall with gratitude the good things that have happened today.] Heavenly Father, thank you for the many blessings of today. May I never be ungrateful, but rather full of joy and love because of you. Examination of Conscience [Pause for a moment and examine the day: Have you love God with all your heart, soul, and mind? And have you loved your neighbor as yourself?] Act of Contrition My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, I have sinned against you whom I should love above all things. I firmly intend, with your help, to do penance, to sin no more, and to avoid whatever leads me to sin. Our Savior Jesus Christ suffered and died for us. In His name, my God, have mercy. Amen Psalm 31 In thee, O Lord, do I seek refuge; let me never be put to shame; in thy righteousness deliver me! Incline thy ear to me, rescue me speedily! Be thou a rock of refuge for me, a strong fortress to save me! Yea, thou art my rock and my fortress; for thy name’s sake lead me and guide me, take me out of the net which is hidden for me, for thou art my refuge. Into thy hand I commit my spirit; thou hast redeemed me, O Lord, faithful God. +In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Motivation to Go to Catholic Mass

09:27
You may have heard priests or devout Catholics say something like, “If only people knew what was happening at Mass, they’d be more willing to go.” That may be true, but in this video, Fr. Mike also gets to the more practical—and painfully direct—heart of the matter. He points out that the heart of worship is sacrifice, and ultimately it’s not about how engaged or entertained we are. Mass isn’t about us; it’s about God and what he asks of us. Prayer, The Great Means Of Grace, Full Catholic Audiobook

01:26:06
Christian prayers are quite varied. They can be completely spontaneous, or read entirely from a text, like the Anglican Book of Common Prayer. The most common prayer among Christians is the Lord's Prayer, which according to the gospel accounts (e.g. Matthew 6:9–13) is how Jesus taught his disciples to pray.[29] The Lord's prayer is a model for prayers of adoration, confession and petition in Christianity.[29] Christians generally pray to God or to the Father. Some Christians (e.g., Catholics, Orthodox) will also ask the righteous in heaven and "in Christ," such as Virgin Mary or other saints to intercede by praying on their behalf (intercession of saints). Formulaic closures include "through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, through all the ages of ages," and "in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit." It is customary among Protestants to end prayers with "In Jesus' name, Amen" or "In the name of Christ, Amen."[30] However, the most commonly used closure in Christianity is simply "Amen" (from a Hebrew adverb used as a statement of affirmation or agreement, usually translated as so be it). In the Western or Latin Rite of the Roman Catholic Church, probably the most common is the Rosary; In the Eastern Church (the Eastern rites of the Catholic Church and Orthodox Church), the Jesus Prayer. The Jesus Prayer is also often repeated as part of the meditative hesychasm practice in Eastern Christianity.[31] Roman Catholic tradition includes specific prayers and devotions as acts of reparation which do not involve a petition for a living or deceased beneficiary, but aim to repair the sins of others, e.g. for the repair of the sin of blasphemy performed by others.[32] Other forms of prayer among Catholics would be meditative prayer, contemplative prayer and infused prayer discussed at length by Catholic Saints St. John of the Cross and St. Theresa of Jesus.

Daily Reading for Sunday, June 16th, 2019 HD

04:00
Reading 1, Proverbs 8:22-31 22 'Yahweh created me, first-fruits of his fashioning, before the oldest of his works. 23 From everlasting, I was firmly set, from the beginning, before the earth came into being. 24 The deep was not, when I was born, nor were the springs with their abounding waters. 25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills, I came to birth; 26 before he had made the earth, the countryside, and the first elements of the world. 27 When he fixed the heavens firm, I was there, when he drew a circle on the surface of the deep, 28 when he thickened the clouds above, when the sources of the deep began to swell, 29 when he assigned the sea its boundaries -- and the waters will not encroach on the shore -- when he traced the foundations of the earth, 30 I was beside the master craftsman, delighting him day after day, ever at play in his presence, 31 at play everywhere on his earth, delighting to be with the children of men. Responsorial Psalm, Psalms 8:4-5, 6-7, 8-9 4 what are human beings that you spare a thought for them, or the child of Adam that you care for him? 5 Yet you have made him little less than a god, you have crowned him with glory and beauty, 6 made him lord of the works of your hands, put all things under his feet, 7 sheep and cattle, all of them, and even the wild beasts, 8 birds in the sky, fish in the sea, when he makes his way across the ocean. 9 Yahweh our Lord, how majestic your name throughout the world! Reading 2, Romans 5:1-5 1 So then, now that we have been justified by faith, we are at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; 2 it is through him, by faith, that we have been admitted into God's favour in which we are living, and look forward exultantly to God's glory. 3 Not only that; let us exult, too, in our hardships, understanding that hardship develops perseverance, 4 and perseverance develops a tested character, something that gives us hope, 5 and a hope which will not let us down, because the love of God has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit which has been given to us. Gospel, John 16:12-15 12 I still have many things to say to you but they would be too much for you to bear now. 13 However, when the Spirit of truth comes he will lead you to the complete truth, since he will not be speaking of his own accord, but will say only what he has been told; and he will reveal to you the things to come. 14 He will glorify me, since all he reveals to you will be taken from what is mine. 15 Everything the Father has is mine; that is why I said: all he reveals to you will be taken from what is mine. Divine Mercy Chaplet Explained (St Faustina) - Catholic Video by Speaker Ken Yasinski

02:54
Divine Mercy Chaplet explained. In Catholic Video by Roman Catholic speaker Ken Yasinski reflects upon the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, from St Faustina Catholic Devotion Explained: Divine mercy prayer said on Rosary. Other Divine Mercy Facts: Divine Mercy Nova : Jesus asked this to begin on Good Friday Divine mercy Sunday: is on the second Sunday of Easter St. Faustina was canonized on April 30, 2000 In the 1930s an uneducated polish nun by the name of Sr. Faustian started to receive mystical visions of Jesus. In 1935 she saw a vision, an angel sent by God to punish a certain place for it’s disobedience. Moved by this vision, she prayed begging God to spare the people asking for mercy, but nothing she said seemed to have any effected. As she was praying, Faustian became greatly aware of the Holy Trinity and the presence of Jesus, and then was snatched up and brought before the Throne of God. There, inspired by the Holy Spirit she began to say “Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world; for the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us” With the words, she saw the angel of wrath become absolutely helpless. Completely unable to carry out the chastisement. The next day as Sr. Faustian entered the chaplet where she prayed, Jesus instructed her to say the chaplet this way: Begin it with One our Father, One hail Mary and then, he I Believe, Then using a rosary, say on the Our Father beads, “Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world; then on each hail Mary beed, say “for the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world” Later Jesus revealed to Sr. Faustina that this chaplet was for the whole world and that there are great promises of grace are available to those who say this prayer with love for God. So where does the Chaplet come from? It comes from Jesus through the mystical experiences of St. Faustina. And how do we say it? We use the rosary beads as instructed by Jesus. Catholic TV Mass Online May 12, 2019: Fourth Sunday of Easter

37:23
Presider: Fr. Patrick Heppe Parish: Holy Angels Choir: Heart of the Nation TEXT FROM THE GOSPEL AND HOMILY The Lord be with you. And with your spirit. The gospel reading today is taken from the good news, recorded for us by John. Glory to you Lord. Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life and they shall never perish. No one can take them out of my hand. My father, who has given them to me, is greater than all and no one can take them out of the father's hand. The father and i are one." The Gospel of the Lord. Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ. This is Mother's Day and they say it is one of the most popular days of the year for phone calls. So if you're a mom and you pick up the phone you probably do not have to think twice as to who it's probably going to be. Might be a son or daughter, grandson, granddaughter, those people that are close to you are going to give you a call. At least I hope so and you're going to pick up the phone, you're going to know who it is or at least you won't have to ask because you can pretty much figure it out, you know the voice. It's pretty much true with certain types of animals as well because Jesus uses that image in today's gospel reading. Jesus says that the sheep know the voice of the shepherd and they follow the shepherd. And it's an important connection you might say. We spent the last period of time through Lent, Holy Week and those first weeks of Easter, attuning our ears to the voice of the shepherd because we know that the voice of the shepherd is a voice that's going to lead us to new life, that's going to lead us to happiness, that's going to give our lives direction and meaning and purpose. As we gather in prayer we have a time to reflect on, where have I been over the last number of weeks, months... Have I really attuned my ears to the good shepherd. And i'll be you have. I'll bet you've spent some time during Lent, prayer, fasting and almsgiving, during holy week following Jesus, following him through holy week through the passion, through resurrection and new life as we celebrated Easter. All those things are ways in which we attune our ears to the good shepherd. And like Paul and Barnabas, we're called to do the same. We are called to with life, and passion, share the good news, and share the joy and share the excitement. Share it and share it well. You have known the shepherd and now your job is to share the life of the good shepherd and share his passion with those around us. Share it well. Catholic TV Mass Online June 16, 2019: Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity

33:03
Presider: Fr. Arul Ponnaiyan Parish: St. Paul & Sacred Heart Choir: Heart of the Nation TEXT FROM THE GOSPEL AND HOMILY The Lord be with you. And with your spirit. A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John. Glory to you, o Lord. Jesus said to his disciples: "I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now. But when he comes, the spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth. He will not speak on his own, but he will speak what he hears, and will declare to you the things that are coming. He will glorify me because he will take from what is mine and declare it to you. Everything that the father has is mine; for this reason I told you that he will take from what is mine and declare it to you." The Gospel of the Lord. Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ. Brothers and sisters, today we celebrate the Feast of the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. It's a celebration of relationship; our relationship with God and with one another and in the person of Jesus Christ we have come to discover that God's love for each one of us is unconditional. In the person of Jesus we have come to know God, in an intimate way we could, the humanity could hear God, touch, and experience God's intimate, tender, compassionate love and in the person of Jesus we also come to know that God's love for us does not show partiality because God sends rain on the just and the unjust. He makes the sunshine on the righteous and the unrighteous. But we, as human beings, we limit our love for one another. We struggle and today, the Feast of the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity invites each one of us to look deeply into our lives and see how do we love one another because Jesus summarized the whole bible into all the commandments into one. Love one another as I have loved you. So unconditional love means putting the needs of the others before our own needs. So today I invite and encourage all of us to look into our lives and see who are the people we struggle to love and pray for the grace that we may open our hearts and minds to loving others as God loves us. TRANSFIGURATION OF JESUS - Encountering God in Prayer

Homily for the 2nd Sunday of Lent is a reflection on the event of the Transfiguration, when three Apostles joined Jesus for a time of prayer. What does this story mean for us as we are called to grow in Prayer during Lent?

32:45
Presider: Fr. Brian Walker, O.P. Parish: Dominican Friars Choir: St. Leonard The Lord be with you. And with your spirit. A proclamation of the Holy Gospel according to St. Luke. Glory to you o Lord. Some people told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with the blood of their sacrifices. Jesus said to them in reply, "Do you think that because these Galileans suffered in this way that they were greater sinners than all other Galileans? By no means! But I tell you, if you do not repent, you will all perish as they did! Or those eighteen people who were killed when the tower at Siloam fell on them - do you think they were more guilty than everyone else who lived in Jerusalem? By no means! But I tell you, if you do not repent, you will all perish as they did!" And he told them this parable: "There once was a person who had a fig tree planted in his orchard, and when he came in search of fruit on it but found none, he said to the gardener, 'For three years now I have come in search of fruit on this fig tree but have found none.’ So cut it down. Why should it exhaust the soil?' He said to him in reply, 'Sir, leave it for this year also, and I shall cultivate the ground around it and fertilize it; it may bear fruit in the future. If not you can cut it down.'" The Gospel of the Lord. Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ. Take off your shoes because the ground on which you stand is holy ground. These are the words that Moses hears coming from the bush that was burning yet not consumed. These words are not new. We have heard them many times over the course of the years but have we ever stopped to think about what they truly mean? Moses removed his shoes because he took these words to heart and that meant doing exactly what the Lord said. In many cultures this is still the practice a good Muslim will always remove his shoes before prayer because he knows what this means many people of eastern cultures and in Asia also remove their shoes. We, of course, would be afraid to remove our shoes because we would first think about the way our socks or stockings or even our feet would look, we would also think about how it might smell and we would get embarrassed. You see, Moses didn't care about these things because he knew that he had to follow the words of the Lord. What it means is, having respect in other words, we could and maybe even should, take off our shoes before our elders, when meeting a stranger, entering the house of another and most especially upon entering the house of prayer our customs are different and we don't even think about it. But let us not lose sight of the fact that we should respect one another. During this third week of lent let us pray ever more fervently for the other. Amen. Prayer to St Gabriel - Protection, Healing, Blessing, Restoration, Deliverance, Courage, Faith

01:42:06
Powerful Prayer to St Gabriel - Protection, Healing, Restoration, Fullness, Deliverance, Courage, Strength, Faith. Please find a longer version of this prayer here : https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=LjpMfCEIM58 St. Gabriel the Archangel, I venerate you as the “Angel of the Incarnation,” because God has specially appointed you to bear the messages concerning the Savior of the world to Daniel, Zechariah, and the Blessed Virgin Mary. I venerate you also as the “strength from God,” because you are the giver of God’s strength, consoler and comforter chosen to strengthen God’s faithful and to teach them important truths. I ask for the grace of a special power of the will to strive for holiness of life. Steady my resolutions, renew my courage, comfort and console me in my problems, trials, and sufferings of daily living, as you consoled our Savior in His agony and Mary in her sorrows and Joseph in his trials. I put my confidence in you. St. Gabriel, I ask you specially for courage, strength, wisdom, knowledge, understanding to always trust and follow the will of God. I today consecrate myself and my family to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary, through your powerful intercession. Come swiftly to our aid in our necessities, come with your brother legions of arch angels and angels to defend and protect, to hide and console the children of God and to defeat every work of the devil against the children of God. Break down the closed doors, shatter the chains of sin and death, reverse ancestral curses and release bondages from me, my family tree, my community and this nation. Prepare me, my family and this entire world for the second coming of Jesus. Oh, Blessed Archangel Gabriel, we beseech you, to intercede for us in our necessities at the throne of Divine Mercy, that you who made known to the Most Immaculate Virgin Mary the Mystery of the Incarnation, through your prayers and intercession in heaven, may obtain for us the benefits of heaven that we may sing the praise of God forever in the land of the living. Through your earnest love for the Son of God and for His blessed Mother, I beg of you, intercede for me that my request may be granted, if it be God’s holy Will. Almighty and ever-living God, since You chose the Archangel Gabriel from among all the Angels to announce the mystery of Your Son’s Incarnation, mercifully grant that we who honor Him on search may feel the benefit of His patronage in heaven. Who live and reign forever. ℟. Amen. Hail Mary, Glory Be. Amen. ============== Will you please pray a decade of the Rosary/ short prayer to support this ministry! Thank You & God Bless You!
Guided Meditation (Catholic)

05:46
Tired? Tried? Tested? Troubled? Weary? Sad? Burdened? Stressed-out? Pressured? Be soothed. Allay your weariness and fears through Our Lord with this Catholic Guided Meditation. Better if you do this meditation with the eyes closed. I just did not want the video to be all-black empty, thus the pictures. Also, my copy of the CD is a bit broken---there is supposed to be an ejaculation at the end by Sr. Eppie saying: "Regina Rosarii, Virgin most powerful, intercede for us." --------------- AUDIO: Guided Meditation composed and recited by Sr. Eppie Brasil, OP with Noelle Cassandra as harp artist. ( Please do not download and/or re-upload the audio. If you want to purchase the CD (Harp Hits for Healing), visit this site for more info: http://www.reginarosarii.org/home/ ). Thank you. 21:03
To Order this on DVD or CD: http://divinemercyinsong.com/   Produced by Trish Short. As heard worldwide on EWTN. Only loving and supportive comments will be displayed to honor The Great Gift of Mercy and Forgiveness that Jesus Christ bought for us all through the shedding of His Precious Blood on The Cross. We recite The Chaplet of Divine Mercy because we are all sinners in need of His Mercy. Great graces come are available to those who recite the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. This prayer inspires all to come closer to Christ. To help those who do not know how to pray - to begin their conversation with God. The message of The Divine Mercy is simple. It is that God loves us, all of us - even the most wretched. And, He wants us to recognize that His mercy is greater than our sins. "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."  For more information on Divine Mercy and forgiveness, go to:  http://www.theworkofgod.org/Devotns/DivMercy/fatherforgivethem.htm  **************************************************** How to pray the Chaplet of The Divine Mercy: 1. Begin with the Sign of the Cross, 1 Our Father, 1 Hail Mary and The Apostles Creed. 2. Then on the Our Father Beads say the following: Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world. 3. On the 10 Hail Mary Beads say the following: For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. (Repeat step 2 and 3 for all five decades). 4. Conclude with (three times): Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world. JESUS, WE TRUST IN YOU! Optional Closing Prayer: Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion — inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself. =♥=♥=♥=♥=♥=♥=♥=♥=♥=♥=♥=♥=♥=♥ Jesus' Words to Sister Faustina, as recorded in The Diary of St. Faustina: "Say unceasingly this chaplet that I have taught you. Anyone who says it will receive great Mercy at the hour of death. Priests will recommend it to sinners as the last hope. Even the most hardened sinner, if he recites this Chaplet even once, will receive grace from My Infinite Mercy. I want the whole world to know My Infinite Mercy. I want to give unimaginable graces to those who trust in My Mercy...." "....When they say this Chaplet in the presence of the dying, I will stand between My Father and the dying person not as the just judge but as the Merciful Savior".
