This summer has been going by so fast and I’m super excited to finally share my lower body workout routine! I know most of us have already kicked our BUTTS into shape for beach season, but if you haven't doing these exercises will really put you on the right path. If you guys have watched my previous workout videos let me know how much you felt the burn on a scale of 1-10! For this video I wanted bring you guys along to a workout with my trainer Stephen! The way Stephen trains me is different than anyone I have trained with before. Believe me this workout is the best to tone up your legs and for me it is what I do to prepare for fashion week and the Victoria Secret Show casting. The method behind the workout is focused on creating very strong and lean muscles. These exercises are very specific and target the muscles that we usually don’t think about exercising. These movements can help shape your muscles without building any bulky muscles! When my travel schedule allows I try to train my legs at least 4 times a week. Even if I don’t have time ten to fifteen minutes of this will help! I take my elastic bands all over the world so I can do this workout in my hotel room, in the park, or at any gym I can find when I am on the road. I hope you guys try this workout and start to include these exercises in your routine. Trust me if you do this right you will feel the burn! xx Sanne p.s. In this video I will share my 20 min full body workout that I used to get ready for the Victoria's Secret Show. These exercises are really amazing for toning the body and lengthening all the muscles, especially if I need to be ready for a show or bikini shoot! The best part is you can do this anywhere, at home, the gym or on holiday. For equipment I used hand weights, ankle weights and a resistance band. If you don’t have these at home you can also do this without! So next month New York Fashion Week is going to start again and since I am going to be attending the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Casting I thought I would share a part of my workout that you guys have been asking me about for sometime, my secrets to the BOOTY! For me it’s is nice to work towards certain goals whether physical or mental, and every September I try to work a little bit harder and smarter to reach my goals! We should all set a goal for ourselves for the start of the Fall so let me know what you guys are wanting to focus on and we can all push each other positively as we try to reach new milestones! To keep you guys updated this month, I am going to be sharing a few extra fitness videos so you guys can follow along! Today’s workout I am sharing a 15 Minute Butt Workout! You don’t need any equipment for this and you can literally do this ANYWHERE! If it’s super nice outside or you have some extra room in your apartment it’s really simple to do! All the exercises are very controlled, this way you can target the right muscles and feel the intensity. We are working on different angels and it is important to keep your muscles tight (or squeezed) during the workout for the most effective results. We will do 10 reps of 50 seconds for each exercise and we will have a 10 second break in-between each one! You guys ready? After you try it out let me know how you feel! I think the models are very healthy and do eat a balanced diet 90% of the year. However, leading up to the show they definitely will focus on tweaking their diets so they look more toned and lean on the runway. They also increase their exercise. You definitely need to feel confident, fit and strong on that runway, so who can blame them for wanting to look their best? What I wanted to highlight is that this is their JOB. It’s also their body type to be 5’11 and have long, lean muscles. Are their bodies beautiful? YES! However 99% of women do not have that body type. Are those bodies just as beautiful? YES THEY ARE! So I just want to say that I truly believe that healthy is beautiful and no one should compare themselves to supermodels or let the show make them feel bad about themselves or insecure. Always rock that body you have. Eat and exercise in a way that makes YOU feel amazing. That’s the key to body love and long term health and happiness. Thank you for watching me try to train and diet like a Victorias Secret Model. I had so much fun trying to train like an angel, but the diet was definitely really hard.
