Game Boy Color Longplay [026] The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons (Part 1 of 2)

05:33:39
http://www.longplays.org Played by: Tsunao Zelda game by Capcom. Follow Zelda as he uses a stick to change the weather. A big d00d is involved. Two witches may or may not be involved. Part of a series (Oracle), this game focuses on lots of action. Other than that, it is just another Zelda game. This longplay goes for all Heart Pieces and Secrets (passwords). The non-Linked longplay was played first to get access to the Red Ring, which ended up breaking the Linked Ages playthrough. The Seasons Linked longplay is from a 3-game clear, going to a fourth clear (Seasons to Ages, then Ages to Seasons). I don't attempt to get the Red Ring in the Linked Seasons longplay since it requires too much work to get. Speaking of Red Ring: I don't abuse it in the Linked portion of Seasons.

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages Longplay

05:58:50
Longplay of The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages for the Game Boy Color. Sometime after this Longplay, I will transfer the password to Oracle of Seasons, and do a Longplay of that game which will directly continue from where this one left off. Please bear in mind that I won’t be doing it immediately; there are other games I’ll be doing before Seasons. This covers everything I consider to be part of getting 100%, i.e. every dungeon map & compass, Piece of Heart, item/weapon upgrade, and all optional secrets. This video does not cover every Magical Ring in the game, since it’s impossible to get them all on one single playthrough of the two games. Time stamps for each dungeon: Level 1: Spirit’s Grave - 35:33 Level 2: Wing Dungeon - 1:02:43 Level 3: Moonlit Grotto - 1:48:41 Level 4: Skull Dungeon - 2:46:50 Level 5: Crown Dungeon - 3:21:56 Level 6: Mermaid’s Cave - 3:59:53 Level 7: Jabu-Jabu’s Belly - 4:49:13 Level 8: Ancient Tomb - 5:18:40 At 2:43:46, I had to grind enemies off-screen to try and get Maple to appear, so I cut out the footage. If you have any feedback, or questions about anything related to the video, feel free to leave a comment; I check them frequently and will always respond to questions within 24 hours. Thanks for watching :D

The Legend of Zelda Oracle of Seasons Walkthrough part 1

Episode 1: The Kidnapping of the Oracle of Seasons! As you may have noticed, I'm doing the Seasons and Ages walkthroughs at the same time. However, I recommend watching only one of these two walkthroughs. When these two walkthroughs are done, I'll do the linked version of the games (probably gonna do one other game as a break before that though). Since the linked versions aren't too different from the original, I think it would probably be boring to, for example, watch the original Oracle of Ages followed by the linked version of OoA. That's why I recommend to only watch one of the two walkthroughs, followed by the linked version of the other game. If you rather watch the Oracle of Ages walkthrough first, go here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2dXwxNu9xU

The introduction crap yet again! However we learn about Twinrova. We also finish the 1st dungeon in this video. (Wow this will go by fast, I just know it.) IF YOU ARE NOT PLAYING A LINKED GAME FROM AGES TO SEASONS THEN YOU NEED TO GET THE SWORD FROM THE HERO'S CAVE ON THE COAST NEXT TO THE TOWN! Watch this video to see this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_HWnC9qIRc NOTE: Because this is a linked game, a lot of things will be different, such as the Hero's Cave and the locations of the jewel's. Also note because this is a linked game, I will automatically start out with the sword and an extra heart.

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons Longplay

Longplay of The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons for the Game Boy Color. This is a direct continuation (linked game) from my Oracle of Ages longplay, which can be viewed here: http://youtu.be/vvYJpjnU1zU I recommend watching that before watching this, as the story is a direct continuation and thus will make more sense if you've seen the story of Ages play out first. This covers everything I consider to be part of getting 100%, i.e. every dungeon map & compass, Piece of Heart, Heart Container, item/weapon upgrade, and all optional secrets. I also covered all the transferrable password secrets and ring secrets from Oracle of Ages; I used a specific transition (Radial Wipe) to indicate when I am changing between games. Also please note this video does not cover every Magical Ring in the game, since it’s impossible to get them all on one single playthrough of the two games. Time stamps for each dungeon: Level 1: Gnarled Root Dungeon - 17:32 Level 2: Snake's Remains - 42:13 Level 3: Poison Moth's Lair - 1:15:23 Level 4: Dancing Dragon Dungeon - 2:40:39 Level 5: Unicorn's Cave - 3:19:30 Level 6: Ancient Ruins - 3:51:20 Level 7: Explorer's Crypt - 4:22:59 Level 8: Sword & Shield Maze - 4:52:56 If you have any feedback, or questions about anything related to the video, feel free to leave a comment; I check them frequently and will always respond to questions within 24 hours. In this video we just pretty much go get the remaining jewels and head up to Tarm Ruins! Here is a nice list if you don't know where to find whatever jewel you are missing: IF YOU ARE NOT PLAYING A LINKED GAME, WATCH THIS VIDEO TO FIND THE NON-LINKED GAME JEWELS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQ4ASQaeKUk LINKED GAME --- X Jewel - Southern Coast, Mystery Mark looking thing. Just put a mystery seed on it and battle to get it. Round Jewel - With an old man off a shoreline somewhat near Spool Swamp. Triangle Jewel - At Sunken City, go down a shallow looking watery pit to fall into a cave where Onyx's helper will take it and throw it where you came from. So exit the cave and warp through a gale seed, go back down the pit, and claim the jewel. If you are not playing a linked game, you'll find a gasha seed here. (This watery darker looking pit is near the bottom of Sunken City, about 1 screen down from the Gale Tree, and 1 left of that.) Square Jewel - Near the Unicorn's Cave. Change the season to Summer and walk in what used to be the water. You'll find a bombable cave there which has the Square Jewel in it. If you are not playing a Linked game, you'll find a gasha seed here. NON-LINKED GAME --- X Jewel - See Above. Round Jewel - See Above. Triangle Jewel - Literally right next to the Dancing Dragon dungeon. Go to the very right hand corner of the water and take a dive there, you will find the Triangle Jewel at the end, or rupees if you are in a linked game. Square Jewel - At Spool Swamp. Change the season to Winter and head to a bombable cave near the lower-righthand area of Spool Swamp where there is alot of snow to shovel or smash if you are using Moosh. This cave has the Square Jewel inside or a 100 rupee if you are playing a Linked game.

Once all four heads are defeated, we hit Manhandla a few times with the Magical Boomerang to reveal the red gem inside. Lastly, we simply hit the red gem once with our sword to finish it off.

So we left off after getting the 1st dungeon's essence. Now the Maku Tree talks to us and blah blah blah find the Temple of Seasons blah blah blah. On a side note Maple managed to drop the Heart Piece and Magic Potion at the same time! (UNLIKE AGES...) Anyways, we manage to find the land of Subrosia where the Temple of Seasons is hidden. We get our Season rod and the 1st power of Winter. After all this we get to the 2nd dungeon barely in time for Youtube's 15 min limit.

Bright Sun Mini-Boss: Omuai - 10:57 MOTHULA - 13:16 Difficulty: 6/10 Items Needed: Wooden Sword, Roc's Feather (Highly Recommended) The arena consists of land all around the outer edge and two small platforms of land in the center. Surrounding the two small platforms is a large pit that will drop us down to the lower floor where we must use a trampoline to jump back up to the boss. (Note: If you fall into the pit, all damage done to Mothula will be reset and you must fight it all over again!) Mothula's Attacks: Mothula's Fireball (13:21) Mothula's Offspring (13:19) Mothula's Fire Surge (13:28) Strategy: The only real strategy to fighting Mothula is to jump over it and the pits using the Roc's Feather when Mothula gets close. Afterwards, slash or spin attack Mothula as much as you can without falling into the pits.

Game Boy Color Longplay [027] The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages (Part 1 of 2)

06:47:15
http://www.longplays.org Played by: Tsunao Zelda game by Capcom. Follow Zelda as he goes back and forth through time with a harp. A sorceress is involved. Two witches may or may not be involved. Part of a series (Oracle), this game focuses on puzzle solving. Other than that, it is just another Zelda game. This longplay goes for all Heart Pieces and Secrets (passwords). The non-Linked longplay uses the Hero's Secret from clearing a Linked Game of Ages (hence the first file having a clear). This was to carry over the Red Ring from Non-Linked Seasons (I started with Seasons first just for the Red Ring.) This end up breaking the game and making some bosses a joke in the Linked longplay. To make it fair, for the non-Linked run, I don't use the Red Ring much.

Digdogger's Attacks: Digdogger will try to jump on us, once split up, the smaller digdoggers will try to ram into us. Strategy: Once the fight begins, we use the Magnetic Gloves to call the spiked ball in the room to us from one of the corner pillars. (Be careful not to hold the button or the spiked ball will hit you in the face and damage you.) Once Digdogger gets in our line of sight, we repel the spiked ball into him to damage him. After enough damage, Digdogger will split up into multiple smaller Digdogger's and run around the room. From here, we must use the spiked ball to crush as many as we possibly can before Digdogger reforms himself. Then repeat the process until we win. (Note: Once crushed, a smaller Digdogger will not come back and the amount remaining will be present the next time Digdogger splits)

Game Boy Color Longplay [027] The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons (Part 2 of 2) Linked Seasons

05:55:11
http://www.longplays.org Played by: Tsunao Zelda game by Capcom.

Part 21 of my Zelda: Oracle of Seasons [Linked] Walkthrough. Collectibles: 2 1. Victory Ring (Proof that we defeated Ganon) (Read Below) 2. Hero's Secret (This secret allows us to start a new game of Seasons as if it were a normal game and NOT a linked one. This allows us to play Seasons-Ages which is what will upload next for Zelda. This is also vital for getting all 64 Rings as once we start this new file, we will automatically have one unappraised ring. This is the Victory Ring, which is proof that Ganon was defeated (As seen at the end of the video). Either way, thank you for watching another of my walkthroughs stay tuned for Seasons-Ages!

Final Boss: Onox | Zelda: Oracle of Seasons [Linked] 100% Walkthrough "43/45" (No Commentary)

12:46
Part 19 of my Zelda: Oracle of Seasons [Linked] Walkthrough. Collectibles: 5 1. Armor Ring L-2 (Damage taken is cut in half, sword damage is cut in half) 2. Steadfast Ring (Get knocked back by enemies less) 3. Slayer's Ring (Proof we have defeated 1000 enemies) 4. Sign Ring (Proof that 100 Signs were destroyed) 5. Huge Maku Seed ONOX Difficulty: 10/10 Items Needed: Master Sword, Roc's Cape, Rod of Seasons The arena in the first phase is a simple room with no gimmicks. The arena in the second phase in a dungeon based room with no gimmicks. Onox's Attacks: 1st Phase Onox's Ball and Chain Smash (7:30) Onox's Quake (7:34) Onox's Whirlwind (8:03) 2nd Phase Onox's Claw Smash (8:59) Onox's Claw Swipe (9:17) Onox's Blue Flames (9:41) Onox's Rapid Fire Orbs (9:50) Strategy: Once the 1st Phase begins, we attack Onox with Spin Attacks as that is the only thing that hurts him. After enough damage he will begin to use Din as a shield, we must use the Rod of Seasons to knock her away and quickly get in a few Spin Attacks before she returns and repeat the process. In the 2nd Phase, we wait for Onox to try and smash his claw down on top of us, and use the Roc's Cape to jump on his claw. Once he raises his claw up, we jump off and slash the crystal on his forehead to damage him. We can use the Red Ring to double our damage, and use Spin Attacks to further increase the damage until he is defeated.
