Works absolutely great, have used it for building up a small inventory system with product thumbnails! A big time-saver and super fast support from Mujo. 5 stars.

This is really cool. Seems Excel cannot put pictures into cells properly, so if you bring the pictures into excel normally, the pics are not associated with the cells. If you apply a filter without using this add-in, your pictures will not match the table. Stupid Excel! With this tool, the pics are neatly placed in the cells and are handled properly with filters. *NOTE* For FULL functionality, place images in all cells that you wish to display. If rows are hidden that contain an image next to a row that does not, the row that does not have an image will show the image from the row that is hidden. I would call this a flaw with Excel personally, but keep your eyes sharp if hiding rows with images! Also note: Excel users who do not have this add-in CAN OPEN the document, so this can be prepared by one user and sent to a customer (for example). *IMPORTANT NOTE:* If adding images to an excel document, it will render the entire document unable to copy and Paste Special to another document for some inexplicable reason - *forever*. This has nothing to do with this add-in and is Excel's fault. Best practice is to create a special document that you know will not need to copy-paste out of the XLSX to another XLSX. Printing to PDF still appears to work fine.

I just bought the product and it doesn't install.  I sent an email through the "contact me" section.  Hopefully, you'll respond quickly.

Two things: 1.  I tried another computer and it installed fine. 2.  You DID respond quickly.  Thank you!

tried this : Don't know about tool but there is easy way to finish that: 1. In column A write the path to your images e.g. C:\images\ and copy down 2. In column B place your file names(with or without Excel Image Assistant) 3. In column C write file extension e.g. .jpg and also copy down 4. In column D write following formula =A1&B1&C1, formula result will be C:\images\file name.jpg and also copy down to suit your needs. 5 In column E place following formula =HYPERLINK(D1;B1) and also copy down. Enjoy :-) does not hyperlink... probably I need to buy exel for dummies :)

Thank you very much! It is really useful :) Do you know if exists a similar tool to create hyperlinks automatically? For example a tool that create a link in every cell whose text is exactly the name of a file in the selected folder (obviously the hyperlink created refers this file). Thanks in advance!

yes it is. In Excel 2011 for Mac: Insert New Comment, Format Comment, Colors & Lines, Color, Fill Effects, Picture, Select Picture. You may want to adjust the Size to keep Aspect Ratio of picture correct. Have fun!

Yes sure, sorting will work fine in both cases(cells & comments)...Probably the best way to embed images with cells is to insert images into comments according to cell value(image file name) then you can sort it and filter it according to image name... If you insert images into cells sorting will work fine but please note, images are not treated as data in cells and beside images you'll need some data for proper sorting.
